A new and exciting role has become available for an experienced HR Manager to join Fairmont Residential on a full time, permanent basis, at our office in Kinver, just outside Stourbridge.

This is a role you can really get stuck into. We are looking for someone who has strong employee relations experience along with employment law experience.

Founded in 2007, Fairmont Residential has quickly developed a reputation for providing the highest quality residential care homes, services and outcomes for young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and a Severe Learning Disability. Our specialist approach enables people whose complex behaviour can challenge others, to progress and achieve positive outcomes.

You will be managing approximately 150 employees across 6 sites, alongside the Head of HR. We are looking for someone who can take on the day to day running of the department, who can amend current processes, manage employee relations issues, with a view to building a team below you.

**Your new role**

As our HR Manager, you will develop and lead the HR function to support the strategic direction of the business, ensuring that the people policies support Fairmont Residentials overall goals. You will take on the day to day running of the HR department and manage the ER cases that arise.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to have worked in a similar position or a standalone role as you will be the main person taking on all human resources tasks until you have created a team below you.

You must be CIPD qualified or have a degree equivalent to this and be up to date on all Employment Law.

We are looking for someone who isn't afraid to identify any potential gaps within the business and improve on existing policies.

If you have a background in care or have experience with similar services that we provide, this will be advantageous as the industry comes with its own challenges, but this isn't essential.

**Other key duties will include**

Work closely with the MD and Senior Leadership team in annual HR plans to support the aims of the business
Support line managers in managing employee relations and potential issues
Lead complex investigations
Support and coach managers to ensure they have skills and knowledge to efficiently manage their teams
Travel to our others sites where required
Be flexible and supportive to tasks of all levels if required

**What you will get in return**

You will earn a salary of up to £42,000, depending on experience.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm with a degree of flexibility to see night staff when needed.
You will be based onsite in our purpose built office at our Botts Farm site.
Additional benefits are 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, government pension scheme and free onsite parking.
