Job Title: IT Systems Administrator

**Salary**:£18,000 to £26,000 per annum
Location: Hitchin
Contract: Permanent - Full time
Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm (and early and a late shift on a rota basis)

Our client, who are an IT leading service provider are looking for an experienced IT professional to join the lively team in Hitchin.

SKILLS REQUIRED
- Experience within a similar role
- Highly organised
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong IT skills
- Experience with 365, Exchange, IP Networking, and antivirus technologies
- Works well on own initiative

RESPONSIBILITES
- Responsible for running of IT systems and networks, performing checks on software to ensure its functioning well and doing regular backups.
- Support internal & external networks, servers and security systems.
- Perform system maintenance Providing support and troubleshooting any problems
- Updating customers if there is a delay in resolving their issue
- Record activity through the ticketing system and ensure the team are updated with progress status.
- Explaining technical faults in a clear way to customers.
- Keep client information up to date on the system.
- Occasional on site visits if some faults cannot be resolved remotely.
