**About this job**:
We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Phlebotomist to join our team and play a vital role in supporting the healthcare needs of our community.

The GP Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing venepuncture to collect blood samples from patients, ensuring accuracy, safety, and patient comfort. You will work closely with the clinical team, including GPs, nurses, and healthcare assistants, to support efficient patient care.

To work with our vibrant team to perform a range of healthcare assistant duties at the GP Practice. Previous experience as a **GP Phlebotomist** is advantageous, as is experience using EMIS. There is space to grow and develop skills on this job as guided by the clinicians in the practice.

**Duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Working closely with GPs and will receive continued support
- EMIS documentation
- Phlebotomy

In addition to the primary responsibilities, the **phlebotomist may be requested to**:

- Suggest improvements to our practice and your job role, in practice meetings
- Support phlebotomy staff, providing cover during staff absences
- Partake in audit as directed by the audit lead

Our patients come from a broad range of backgrounds, but we do have a particular large number of Arabic speaking patients. **Speaking Arabic may be beneficial for this role but is certainly not a requirement.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 7 per week
