**Job Title**:Health and Social Care Trainer / Assessor (Level 5)
**Location**: Home/Field based - Covering the North East
**Salary**:£28,000 - £30,000 + Excellent Bonus Scheme up to an additional £10,000 OTE (Depending on qualifications and experience)

**Essential Criteria**:
- Hold either a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) **or** a Level 3 Teaching Qualification such as PTLLS / AET
- Ideally have experience of assessing Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care / Adult Care at Level 5.
- Hold own Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, such as an LMC or equivalent.
- Hold solid occupational experience within Health and Social Care as Registered/Care Manager.
- Confident to deliver and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English.
- Must have a good level of ICT skills.
- Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel and also remote home working.
**Duties include**:
- Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 5 (Lead Adult Care Worker).
- Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, learner recruitment, quality paperwork and general administration.

- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
- Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
