**About the role**
We have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Trainer to join us at Northumbrian Water Group. The purpose of the role is to deliver, assess, and ensure compliance in health and safety training programs.
You will evaluate the competency of employees in areas such as permit to work, safe isolation, and working at height, ensuring all staff meet necessary competency standards. You will maintain accurate records of training and competency assessments.
You will develop, review, and update training materials to reflect current best practices, regulatory standards, and NWG policies including the use of E learning development. You will also identify improvements to training, assessments and procedures based on safety data and feedback.
**About you**
If you have knowledge and experience of Health and Safety Training and Assessments, we want to hear from you.
You will have the IOSH Managing Safety Certificate or equivalent qualification, and either have a NEBOSH Certificate or be willing to work towards it.
You will ideally have designed and delivered Health and Safety training effectively across a wide range of different job roles, within a utilities or similarly high-risk environment.
