Kit Marshaller

**Purpose**:
Production operates on a batch by batch process. Each batch in powders production requires the weighment of small powder additives prior to producing the final product.

The role of the Kit Marshaller is to accurately weigh raw materials as per the production plan to produce each kit, batch by batch.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications/education required**:

- Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths.
- FLT Certificate for reach truck.

**Experience required**:

- 1 year experience on the job or in a similar role.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
The main duties for the job holder will be as follows:

- To follow the production plan in order to make up kits in time for the production run.
- To measure out the correct quantity of raw materials for each batch.
- Check the Bill of Materials is correct.
- Ensure that the days plan is completed in the correct order.
- Follow the manual handling procedure for the products being weighed out.
- Where appropriate take QC test samples.
- Stock rotation & stock accuracy is an essential part of the role.

The working hours for this post will be Monday - Friday on a rotating 2 shift pattern. 15% shift premium will be paid in addition to the basic hourly rate.
