**Purpose**:
Production at Building Adhesives Ltd. is batch process over 8 busy production lines. During the manufacture of products, each line requires packaging, small additive raw material kits, pallets, film etc. The Production Supply Operatives role is to ensure that each line is populated with all the correct materials in a timely manner to ensure the production process is not compromised. Once production is complete, the PSO also returns surplus materials back to storage ensuring stock accuracy is maintained.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications/education required**:

- Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths.
- FLT Certificate for reach truck.

**Experience required**:

- 1 year experience on the job or in a similar role.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

- Ensuring products are stored correctly in the relevant areas and that physical and logical stocks match.
- Ensure that the production department does not run out of the required kits, packaging and pallets, enabling continuity of supply.
- All paperwork and transactions are completed correctly, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate any problems on individual goods or deliveries to relevant key contacts.
- To assist the Kit marshalling in bulk picking of raw materials and packaging if required.
- Assist Goods-In operative during exceptionally busy periods if required.
- Substitute Goods-In operative during holidays and sickness.
- Obtain bulk raw material samples for QC inspection were required.
- Assist Production in tasks which are required to fulfil the production plan.
- All FLT faults are reported immediately to the shift manager.

The working hours for this post will be Monday - Friday on a rotating 2 shift pattern. 15% shift premium will be paid in addition to the basic hourly rate.

- FLT Certificate for reach and counterbalance truck (preferred)
