**Working Pattern**: Part time position working 3 days a week, 8.30am - 3.00pm, during published term dates and 2 days a week, 8.30am - 3.00pm, during published school holidays. Term dates are based off a 35 week year in school (including 5 INSET days) and 17 weeks of school holidays. **Job Overview**: **Responsibilities**: - HR & Recruitment: To maintain the School Central Register (SCR) and all associated procedures (e.g. DBS checks). To maintain staff files, contracts, performance appraisals etc. To assist with the planning and use of part-time and specialist staff. To maintain staff training and CPD records. To assist with job descriptions, person specifications and advertising roles. To filter applicants and set up interviews. - Data management: To generate and store data according to school policies and procedures, especially with regard to safeguarding, complaints, health and safety, training and CPD. To complete the Census information. - To create class lists, pupil registration books and maintain the pupils on roll files and profiles. - Policies and procedures: To ensure all documents are reviewed and updated according to a schedule. - To liaise with contacts at other schools, professional bodies and governmental organisations. To compile and provide reports and information in various formats as requested. **Requirements**: - Excellent numeracy/literacy skills. - The ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities and your own position within these. - Ability to work accurately under pressure with attention to detail. - Relevant professional experience. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Confident IT user with experience of using Google Suite and Microsoft Office. - Excellent organisational skills. - Experience of working in an educational setting (desirable). **Benefits**: - Free school lunches. - Independent school term dates. - Free on-site parking. - Beautiful rural setting.
