We’re looking for a dynamic, creative, organised, and confident individual to develop a new visitor experience for Shugborough, as part of a project looking at the development of the facilities and infrastructure. You'll work closely with internal and external customers and will manage small projects and budgets.

Situated almost equidistant between Stafford and Rugeley, Shugborough is the best-known and most significant surviving historic house, designed landscape and estate within the county of Staffordshire.

Reporting to the Project Manager you'll be part of the internal consultancy. You'll be based at the Shugborough Estate, but we do offer a hybrid working environment.

You'll also be responsible for developing key areas of the visitor experience bringing the property story to life through exciting and engaging interpretation as well as delivering the basics from toilets to property maps. You'll deliver play interventions, both large and small across the property in addition to developing the new ‘Explorer’s Wood’ play area.

Who we're looking forWe'd love to hear from you if you have:

- A good understanding and working knowledge of delivering great visitor experience, understanding the needs of audiences and the production of exciting interpretation.
- An excellent organiser with good planning skills.
- Strong communication skills with evidence of communication planning and delivery.
- Proven ability to review, collate and produce written materials in a clear and accurate way.
- Excellent influencing skills, enabling relationships to be built and maintained; comfortable at working with a wide variety of people.
- A good understanding of fundraising and working with funders.
