SAFE Support for Young People Affected by Crime is an Oxford based charity working across the Thames Valley. We are looking to recruit an experienced practitioner as a Project Worker to deliver support to families for our Building Respectful Families programme in the south of the region.
**Role**: BRF Project Worker
**Location**:Predominantly home-based with travel across Berkshire,South Bucks/South Oxfordshire (occasional travel to our Head Office in Oxford)
**Hours**:Opportunities for full-time (37.5 hours) and part-time positions
**Salary**:NJC 18 to 21 (£24,982 - £27,041 FTE) pro rata
**Role Responsibilities**
Planning and delivering high quality one-to-one provision and supporting facilitation of a groupwork programme of support to children and/or parents in families affected by Child and Adolescent to Parent Violence and Abuse (CAPVA) in this region.
The role covers direct work of the BRF service across the South of the Thames Valley, predominantly Berkshire with some work in South Oxfordshire / South Bucks.
This role will require travel around the region visiting children and families in schools, homes and community settings, and occasional unsociable working hours. You will otherwise be based primarily from home.
We are looking for people who can quickly engage and build trust with young people. You should have a track-record of working with children and young people in a supportive role. An enthusiastic self-starter with excellent communication skills, you will have experience of multi-agency working and a commitment to high standards of professionalism. You should have experience of supporting others in a professional role.
Applicants will have a good understanding of confidentiality and safe working practices and maintenance of records in accordance with the Data Protection (GDPR) Act. In addition, you must be able to demonstrate your active commitment to promoting equal opportunities and diversity.

**Salary**: £24,982.00-£27,041.00 per year
