You will work on a wide range of water sector projects including water treatment, water storage and transfers, wastewater recycling, industrial process water, desalination, irrigation, hydropower and flood defence.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and deliver projects to time, quality, and budget objectives.Identify and monitor project risks and opportunities.Contribute to project governance reviews.Manage design and quality of deliverables.Handle commercial and contractual management.Engage stakeholders, taking their influence and interests into account.Support the development of the project delivery team.Candidate SpecificationThis role will suit candidates with experience and interest in the following:Relevant technical degree, Chartered engineer or nearing chartership with membership of an appropriate professional body.Essential RequirementsProject management, delivery and leadership experience.Experience of delivering large, multi‑disciplinary infrastructure projects, ideally in the water sector.Experience working as part of multi‑disciplinary design teams at various stages of the project lifecycle.Ability to undertake studies, concept, preliminary and detailed design work.Experience of interfacing and engaging with clients and other stakeholders.Strong communication skills, including writing reports and presenting.Proactive approach with adaptability to changing scenarios.Understanding of the importance of prioritising health, safety, and environmental issues.Digital capability.Commercial acumen and knowledge of project planning and controls.DesirableAPM PMQ, MAPM or equivalent.NEC accreditation.Design and build experience.Knowledge of CDM regulations and responsibilities.UK ImmigrationMott MacDonald Ltd. are not currently offering sponsorship to candidates under the Skilled Worker visa route in the UK.
