**_Job Summary_**

Temp All Staffing are currently recruiting for a Chef on behalf of our client based in Colchester town centre. They are a Restaurant Tea Room, open 7 days a week. The core of the work is daytime, but occasionally there are weddings booked that stretch intothe evening.

This role will involve the day to day running of a kitchen, alongside the other chefs. We are looking for someone with good time keeping, good appearance, and a good work attitude. This is a friendly work environment that will offer a good work/home lifebalance

**_Job Role_**
- Assist with the preparation of food and the serving of all meals to customers
- Working as a team to ensure that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy
- Ensuring all food and health and safety regulations are followed
- **Working Week**_
- 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Includes weekend and occasional evening shifts

**_Skills & Experience_**
- Experience in a contract catering related environment
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to follow instructions
- Basic Food Hygiene and Basic Health and Safety certificates are advantageous but not essential
