**Your role**

Are you an analytic thinker? Can you deliver accurate and timely financial information?

An exciting opportunity is available in Accounting Control:

- Review the production of complex accounting journals to ensure our financial information is complete and accurate
- Review technical accounting decisions made on new business term sheets
- Ensure a timely and controlled month-end & quarter-end close process
- Review manual disclosures produced within the team
- Support continuous improvement of quality, efficiency and effectiveness of controls
- Opportunities to rotate into Netting or Disclosure roles within Accounting Control

**Your team**

You'll be working in the Accounting Control team in London. We are a team based in London & India, providing centralised global services for Netting, Disclosures & Technical Accounting.

**Your expertise**
- You should be a qualified accountant
- Experience of working in Banking or auditing Financial Services.
- Understanding of various basic banking products like Futures, Swaps, Bonds, IRS, CDS etc.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and deadlines
- Experience in automation, acceleration and optimization
- Excellent MS Office skills including ability to work on large Excel files with complex formulae and vlookups/pivots
- Knowledge of optimization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI etc would be an advantage.
