**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide guidance and support to young people in various settings, including schools, community centres, and youth clubs.
- Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of individual youth.
- Mentor and encourage young people to achieve their personal goals and improve their social skills.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive environment for youth development.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress for each young person under your care.
- Facilitate group activities that promote teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills among youth.
- Advocate for the needs of young people, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and support services.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in youth work or a related field is essential.
- A background in special education is highly desirable.
- Strong mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young people.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children of various ages.
- A genuine passion for educating and supporting young people in their personal development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being able to work independently when required.
- Flexibility in working hours may be necessary to accommodate the needs of the youth you support.

Pay: £25,553.00-£26,733.00 per year
