IT Process Improvement Manager (Continuous/ Process Improvement)

Fully Remote - Up to £75,000

Our client is a top-tier law firm based in the city of London. They are seeking an experienced IT Process Improvement specialist to join their growing IT function. The process manager will focus on Problem, Incident, Change, Configuration and Request Management.Pursue Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive long term resolution. Perform proactive event analysis to avoid future incidents and minimize the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, refine, and document Problem, Incident, Change, Configuration and Request Management operation's policies, processes, and procedures
- Act as a point of contact for process-related questions or issues and facilitate process-related meetings
- Provide training and mentoring for functional teams to ensure that process guidelines are understood and followed
- Proactively identify major incidents and problems, analyse event data and recommend service improvement plans
- Compile, analyse and report statistical data and trends relating to service level compliance and operational effectiveness across all IT process disciplines

Skills and Qualifications:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the IT process / continuous improvement space is essential (IDEALLY WITHIN A LAW FIRM/LEGAL ENVIRONMENT)
- ITIL V3 EXPERT certification
- 5+ years of relevant ITIL service management experience
- Good ITIL understanding and ability to demonstrate and clearly articulate understanding of Change, Problem, Event, Incident and Configuration Management processes
- Awareness of modern incident management and change processes incorporating practices such as using Site Reliability Engineers in a Product based Service model and DevOps
- Experience in inspiring cultural change to adopt such ITIL and other modern practices
