**Starting Salary £29,500 + Overtime** **Class 2 Day Driver** **We are growing, we are stable, and we are looking for talented and aspiring drivers.** **We provide competitive and dependable logistics solutions across the UK, and that’s how we’ve become the South East’s largest regional FORS Silver approved carrier.** **We are looking for an experienced or aspiring Class 2 driver to join our lively and friendly team of professionals.** **Salary and Benefits**: **Starting Salary £29,500 **+ Overtime** - Overtime rates paid after 10 hours worked on week days, daily at 1.25hrs - Overtime rates for Saturdays at 1.50hrs - Yearly cost of living increases - Length of Service salary increases - Non-contractual company bonus scheme - Periodic CPC training arranged and funded by Eezehaul - 3% Pension Contribution - £500 refer a friend scheme - Employee Assistance Programme and Yearly Health MOT’s - 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays, rising yearly up to the maximum of 34 - Modern (< 3 years) and eco-friendly fleet of vehicles - All vehicles supplied with an electric pallet truck - Eezehaul Academy driver sponsorships - From 7.5t up to Class 1 - Opportunities to work overnight, with allowance of £26.20 when applicable **Responsibilities of Role**: - You would be delivering palletised freight over the Southeast, and general haulage. - Ensure to develop and maintain positive customer relationships, delivering exceptional customer service - To comply with driving hours and working time directives - To ensure driving ability adheres to the safety of others and oneself on the road, ensuring legal compliance at all times - Ensure a professional image of the company and oneself is presented at all times - Ensuring all paperwork is correctly signed, properly distributed and all administration is accurate - Deliver and collect freight within service levels of agreement - Ensure daily vehicle checks are actioned to support Health and Safety criteria - Oversee safe loading and unloading of goods - Responsible for security of loads - To lead and give example to other drivers by offering support - Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements - Willingness to work increased hours during peak times - Flexible working patterns as shifts times may vary. **Working Requirements**: - Monday-Friday with rostered Saturdays (1 in every 6/8 weeks) - Varied start times with expectation to work different routes and plans week to week - Maintain FORS accredited training which is provided in house **Requirements of Class 2 Driver**: - Have a digitacho card - Hold a CPC qualification card **Salary**: From £29,500.00 per year Schedule: - Day shift **Experience**: - Driving: 1 year (preferred) - HGV Driving: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Driver CPC (preferred)
