**Job Title**:Warehouse Operative

**Reporting to**: Office Manager

We are a manufacturer and supplier of warehouse storage equipment, pallet racking and shelving based in Milton Keynes seeking a Warehouse Operative.

We are looking for an energetic Warehouse Operative to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products.

**Key requirements of the role**:

- Operating a forklift to move and rearrange stock and to ensure products are stored safely
- Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and checking in of stock
- Performing detailed checks to ensure there are no missing or damaged items
- Sorting and placing of materials/pallets onto high bay racking
- Picking items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for collection
- Picking and packing products can involve substantial amount of manual handling including bending, stretching, reaching and lifting.
- Helping with stock counts, labelling of stock and locating items required
- Updating IT systems to ensure accurate stock control
- Booking transport and completing and updating labels and signing in sheets when required to do so
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Ensuring all health and safety regulations within the company are adhered to
- As a warehouse operative, you will be working alone and as part of a team

**Qualifications/Skills & Experience**
- Forklift Licence is essential
- Good organisational skills
- Reliability and dependability
- Competent Literacy and Numeracy skills
- Self - Motivated
- Team player

Immediate start

**Salary**:Competitive

**Job Type**: Permanent, Full-Time (Mon-Fri 8.30am-4.45pm)
