**Job Summary**
- ** JOB TITLE**: CONFIGURATION ADMINISTRATOR
- ** DEPARTMENT**: SUPPLY CHAIN
- ** REPORTING TO**: CONFIGURATION SUPERVISOR
- ** WORKING HOURS**: 08:00-16:30, 09:00-17:30, 09:30-18:00 - Rotating weekly

**Key responsibilities**
- To be the vital link between other departments and the configuration department
- Ensure all communication into the Config Inbox is dealt with accordingly
- Ensure passage of information is clear and concise in good time
- Vetting of Config orders to ensure correct costs are applied
- Updating several vital spreadsheets to help with the development of the department
- Take responsibility for the logging of faulty items
- Communicate queries with orders to Account managers and Engineers
- Be the “Face and Voice” of Config as the point of contact for the department.
- Think of ideas to help improve the running of the department.
- To monitor stock levels of certain client owned consumables and flag when
- replacements are required
- To chase queries and necessary information to gain what the department requires to fulfil
- orders
- To schedule all orders coming into Config as soon as they appear.
- Liaise with the Transport and other warehouse depts. To ensure all orders are received and shipped accordingly
- Adhere to processes within and outside of Config to ensure everything is done correctly first time
- All other tasks as required and communicated by the leadership team
- Must have an excellent command of the English language with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel
- Maintaining the excellent internal and external service levels
- Ability to monitor and report on order and issues status information
- Business management skills with a total commitment to the highest levels of customer service
- Ability to take ownership and progress problems to a resolution

**Qualifications, Skills & Experience**
- Educated to GCSE level in Maths and English
- Previous Warehouse experience is highly desired
- Previous stock management, returns and other system related experience desirable
- Previous experience of administration within a technical production environment is highly desired
- Previous customer service experience highly desirable
