We are a family-owned company offering all manner of construction-based services, such as: concrete, haulage, aggregates, plant and grab hire, tipping, road plannings etc. We are looking for someone willing to adapt to our office environment that would be happy to take on a variety of roles. Someone willing to learn new systems and happy to take calls in a kind and professional manner.

The successful applicant will mainly be helping with general admin, with the aim to eventually have a good grasp of all roles within the office as we aim to have a team capable of helping one another.

The role will cover all manner of office tasks including, but not exclusively:

- Answering calls and directing them where relevant
- Data inputting
- Filing
- Recording plant and haulage movements and updating our system
- Organising training
- Tracking timesheets and vehicle mileage

Applicants would require:

- Excellent telephone skills
- Some knowledge of Word and Excel
- Willingness to learn our specialist haulage software
- Ability to work and complete necessary tasks alone

Preferable skills:

- Driving, due to rural location with lack of public transport
- Previous admin experience, preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of the construction industry and required training certification a plus
