- If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for upholding the law, we want you on our team as a Fraud Investigator based in Bradford. You'll play a crucial role in reducing travel fraud across the Northern Trains network, utilising intelligence-driven data to track individuals and gather evidence. Your work will directly contribute to sustainable convictions in the Magistrates’ Court, helping maintain the integrity of our services.
- As a Fraud Investigator, you’ll travel across our network, guided by intelligence, to uncover evidence of travel fraud. You'll ensure the safety of customers and colleagues, conduct thorough investigations, and prepare court documents and witness statements. Your responsibilities include interviewing alleged offenders under caution, preparing prosecution packages, and assisting in revenue protection efforts.
- You’ll work closely with our Revenue Enforcement Delivery Manager and collaborate with colleagues to uphold railway bylaws and regulations. Your role is essential in maintaining our commitment to customer service and operational excellence.

**Key responsibilities**:

- This is a varied and challenging role, but here is a taste of what your day-to-day activities could include:

- Conduct on-site and remote investigations into travel fraud.
- Always ensure customer and colleague safety.
- Utilise revenue tools to target and address offenders.
- Prepare detailed court documents and witness statements.
- Interview individuals under caution per the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.
- Support revenue protection and customer service efforts.

**About you**:

- You’ll need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work independently. Proven experience in a related field and a commitment to integrity and confidentiality are essential.

Training in customer care, commercial duties, and investigative practices will be provided.
