At AstraZeneca, our franchise teams are pivotal in driving launch and commercial effectiveness, setting direction to shape the cancer care landscape and empower care teams. The Bispecifics franchise is focused on the next wave of immuno-oncology (IO) bispecific therapies that are designed to empower the immune system to more effectively recognize and kill cancer cells. We seek a highly skilled **Global Commercial Associate Director** to join our team and be a part of bringing these innovative solutions to life. This role is integral to our Global Commercial Franchise Team in the Oncology Business Unit, advancing our mission to transform cancer care worldwide.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the Global Franchise Head on the Global Strategy development in collaboration with functional teams and key markets.
- Drive portfolio strategy implementation, tactical planning, and execution of key launch deliverables in partnership with Global cross-functional partners and local markets.
- Partner with key markets to establish differentiation for the IO Bispecifics, and understand market evolutions and performance drivers/barriers.
- Coordinate high-impact plans for key congresses in collaboration with other AstraZeneca teams.
- Strengthen internal community: provide leadership across markets and support communication efforts, working closely with communications teams
- Collaborate closely with brand and indication teams to align initiatives and ensure brand consistency.
- Collaborate with Regional/Country teams to ensure alignment and share findings across markets.
- Develop and deliver key strategy presentations to leadership.
- Lead agency relationships, workflow, and commercial budget.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Over 5 years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry, with experience in brand marketing, sales, market research/analytics, or strategic planning.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific data into clear, impactful marketing and medical communications.
- Strong ability to manage complex projects and work within a matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead without authority and work collaboratively across functions and markets.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
- In-depth marketing experience across multiple promotional channels and prior global marketing experience, including developing brand strategy.
- Experience in a medical communications agency would be ideal.

This position is based at our Gaithersburg, MD campus (headquarters for the US Oncology and the global Oncology Business Unit). The annual base pay for this position ranges from $180,875.20 - 271,312.80 USD. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
