**About the role**

As an Prosecution Administration Officer, you will share the responsibility for ensuring every child is able to attend school regularly. You will primarily work with schools and your colleagues to ensure a range of functions are carried out vital to the enforcement of school attendance, helping contribute to our mission to improve attendance, and therefore improving the outcomes of Bradford’s children and young people.

The role requires you to be organised, innovative, and proficient in the use of a wide range of ICT. You will also need to be able to communicate clearly with a range of people, from members of the public to school leaders and team members.

**About You**:
We are seeking people who have a strong desire to make a difference to children and Young People in the Bradford District. You will be naturally inquisitive, act professionally and be able to pay close attention to detail. You will also be able to work individually and as part of a team to resolve a range of problems and situations.

In order to be successful, you will have experience of working in an office environment, working within local government statutory processes, and feel confident dealing with payment and accountancy systems. You must also feel confident about talking to a variety of people, which may involve challenging conversations with members of the public.
