**Finance Coordinator**

Our client is an independent, family-run business based in Hull. In the business for over 35 years and now one of the leading hygiene, packaging and catering suppliers in the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Due to a sustained period of growth, they are looking for an experienced and personable Finance Coordinator to join their team.

**About the role**

Working as part of a small, dedicated and experienced team the role itself will be required to look after the Accounts to management level and ensure all tasks are completed with accuracy and precision.

This well established and organised role is successfully managed using the Cloud based software Xero and stock management programme UnLeashed. It is imperative that the successful applicant is fully conversant with similar Cloud based software as a starting point, having Xero and Unleashed would be a bonus. You will be responsible for the production of management accounts and overseeing accounts to trial balance. You will also have the day to day ‘general tasks’ of overseeing the sales, nominal and purchase ledger and be responsible for the importation and reconciliation of bank accounts, statements and balance sheets.

**Requirements**:

- An AAT level 3 or 4 qualification or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience within all areas of accounts: Dealing with payments, receipts, preparing and running monthly management accounts and overseeing the banking and reconciliation, VAT and Pensions
- Flexible and adaptable attitude and willing to learn to work with a new accounting system
- Strong multi tasking, analytical and problem solving skills
- Proactively confident in being the main accounts person and first point of contact for all accounts based enquiries
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Exceptional analytical Excel skills, including formula and look up & pivot tables and be generally IT literate
- Ability to deliver to deadlines, and manage changing priorities and multiple tasks
- It is desirable that you also: Have current experience at skills in Xero (to bank reconciliation level)
- Have AAT qualifications level 3 or 4, or are working towards a CIMA or ACCA qualification.

**Hours** - full time, permanent position 7:30am - 4:30am

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
