Customer Service Administrator & Order processor

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Customer Service team member to join our friendly and fast-paced Customer Centric team in Guildford. We’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude who has some experience working with B2B customers.

**Key Duties**:
Ultimately responsible for ensuring that an efficient proactive service is provided to our customers from receipt of order to delivery of goods.

Customer Service Operative‘s role is:

- Manage and Process customer orders and quotations
- Manage incoming phone calls, whilst maintaining a high level of phone etiquette and professionalism
- Generate sales leads
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
- Go the extra mile to engage customers
- Assist customers with product inquiries, orders, and issue resolution
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Analyse customer needs to provide appropriate solutions
- Upsell products or services when opportunities arise

**Qualifications**:

- A level GCSE or equivalent preferred
- Proficient in English; (understanding of French is advantageous)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Previous experience in a customer service role is desirable
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus
- Able to competently use Excel and Word
- Competent on computers

**Pay**: Up to £23,308.00 per year Plus:

- Up to 8% of salary Key Performance bonus
- 25 days holiday per year (5 days must be taken over XMAS)
- 8% non contributory Company pension fully paid by company
- Free On-site parking

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm with 30minute lunch

- Guildford, GU3 1LU: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
