Trainee Account Handler

A superb opportunity to join a dynamic team offering strong career progression is now looking for a trainee account handler to join the growing team within the insurance industry. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody looking for an entry level rolewithin insurance that will offer lots of development and progression opportunities.

This is a full time, permanent role based in Leatherhead, Surrey

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5.15pm with one hour for lunch.

This role would suit an individual looking to start a great career in insurance as the position offers full training and offers the successful individual the opportunity to gain qualifications within the sector to become a fully qualified account handler.

**The main duties are**:
To support the broking team with all administration duties

To update and maintain accurate records and files

To update and maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets

Lots of data processing and updating of database systems

Working alongside brokers in the day to day servicing of new and existing Commercial Insurance clients, including major scheme based clients.

Preparing new business quotations for new and existing clients.

Supporting busy renewal activities, and ensuring high levels of business retention - collating renewal dates/diaries and preparing information for renewal terms

Liaising with Insurers/Underwriters

Liaise with senior account handlers for guidance an instruction when required

**Minimum requirements are**:
A minimum of five GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) is required, including Maths and English.

Progress through CII qualifications (financially supported by the company)

Good attention to detail.

Good time management.

Motivated and committed to progress and learn.
