**Requirements**:

- An engineering background, preferably being degree qualified, with a strong understanding / expertise of mechanical, electrical and structural engineering principles.
- AutoCAD Experience
- PVsol & PVsyst Experience
- Knowledge of solar or renewable technologies
- Knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and working knowledge of 18th edition
- Experience of cabling design using software e.g. Amtech (Trimble) cable calculation software
- A full UK driving license

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and submit completed design packs to the technical manager for sign off in line with company guidelines.
- Review tender documentation and client specifications, in order to prepare accurate Designs.
- Able to execute and deliver technical surveys, justifications of design and materials statements and ensure all health and safety requirements are met.
- Produce Design Risk Assessments and assist with Construction Phase Plan and post construction documentation in line with CDM.
- Work with design team to improve processes in construction and maintenance
- Assist in preparing the handover documentation for successful projects and attend internal pre-start meetings
