**Thames Water (Greater London & Surrounding Areas)**

**What you will be doing**:
An opportunity has arisen for a Site Agent to join the team at Galliford Try.

You will work on our Thames Water Frameworks within our Environment Business, who are experienced in successfully delivering schemes of varying sizes, predominately to the Water Industry, across both Treatment Waste and Water schemes.

Ideally, you will be based in or around the London area within the Thames Water region and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region.

As a Site Agent, you will take full responsibility for management of your section of works ensuring you meet client and company performance expectations.

Day-to-day, you will be managing a section of works, supervising, and monitoring the site team/supply chain.

It will be your role to plan, control and monitor the progress of the works and coordinate the sections of the project as allocated, managing multiple packages of work in conjunction with the commercial team and taking full ownership of the costs for section of work assigned.

You’ll be a key member of the project delivery team, reporting progress and performance to the Project Manager and assisting in administering the cost forecast, valuation and reporting systems, implementing and attending weekly and monthly site meetings and ensuring the site team and supply chain are working to the latest design information, capturing and managing any changes in scope (operations, commercial, programme or design).

Your role forms an essential link in the supply chain, you’ll attend external meetings as required with clients and stakeholders, building effective relationships, effectively lead and manage direct reports and monitor capability of the team and contractors to undertake current and prospective workloads and report to senior management. You’ll show flexibility, resilience, and the ability to influence and build relationships. Demonstrating strong ethical standards with openness and honesty.

**About You**:
As well as an ability to manage multiple or larger packages of work and to read and interpret data, drawings specifications and schedules, we are seeking individuals with relevant Civil Engineering Experience and strong knowledge of CDM 15 and NEC contract requirements.

Experience in a national and multi-site business or Water Industry experience is desirable, but not essential.

Working on site, we’d like you to have SMSTS, CSCS, TWC and First Aid. However, we will support you in covering any training needs. You’ll have strong IT skills and be fully conversant with the Microsoft suite of packages.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be highly organised and able to prioritise multiple workloads, able to interpret, extract and disseminate works information relating to program of works.
