Your new company One of the UK's leading infrastructure contractors, working across a number of sectors including; transport, highways, water, energy and telecommunicationsYour new role Working on a scheme in Cambridge involving the construction of dedicated cycleways along existing highways they now require a Site Agent on the scheme. As Site Agent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth delivery of all aspects of the scheme.Key Duties:Lead site operations and supervise site teams and subcontractors Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Manage site logistics, materials, and plant Liaise with local authorities, residents, and stakeholders Monitor progress against programme and report to senior management Ensure quality control and compliance with design specifications Coordinate traffic management and public interface Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries and progress reportsWhat you'll need to succeed Proven experience as a Site Agent Understanding of cycleway and footpath construction, resurfacing, and junction works SMSTS, CSCS and First AidWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
