**Scrum Master - INSIDE IR35 - Remote Working**
As a Scrum Master you will be responsible for coaching and guiding a Scrum team, ensuring the team applies Scrum principles appropriately and that agile events take place. Maintaining a high level of transparency for the work being carried out by the Scrumteam and providing servant leadership to the team. You will also ensure valid information is collected in order to drive the correct metrics and assist the team and organisation continuously improve.
- Responsible for providing facilitation at Scrum events for the team.
- Coach and guide the team during sprints by reinforcing Scrum values and encouraging the team to follow core agile principles of collaboration, regular communication and transparency.
- Manage any emerging dependencies throughout the sprint, escalating where necessary.
- Helping the teams remain focused on their tasks by reducing external distractions which may impact team performance.
- Working closely with Product Owners to communicate the Product Vision to the team and drive the need for business value focus.
- Advocate and share, using empirical data/examples, the benefits of Agile delivery in the wider organisation..
- Actively share good practice agile techniques amongst the Scrum master community.
- Extend agile capability within the Development Teams by coaching team members in agile techniques and supporting self-improvement.
- Recommend modifications to practices to enable the whole organisation to continually develop agile knowledge.
- Facilitate CoP meetings and Agile knowledge sharing meetups within the organisation as required.
- Manage own time and resources to ensure that allocated work is delivered on time and to the required quality.
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:
- Experience of Agile development techniques.
- Experience of working as a Scrum Master or working in an agile delivery team.
- An ability and willingness to learn and develop new ways of working.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, which are essential for interacting with key stakeholders at all levels across the business.
- Experienced communicator and facilitator of large groups.
- Ability to work as a part of a team and foster good working relationships internally and externally.
- Experience of coaching teams or individuals to improve.
- Timely and open communicator and diplomatic when dealing with others.
- Has a customer-centric approach, building and maintaining effective and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.
- Able to maintain a high degree of customer / client / sponsor satisfaction and professionalism.
- Experience in large scale organisational change or transformation would be beneficial.
- Scrum Master certification would be desirable.
