**About the role**:
We’re making some exciting changes to the HR Division at NFU Mutual. This brand-new HR Consultant role will own and oversee our proposition, ensuring we’re firmly future focused and meeting the needs of the business.
In this role, you'll support Strategic HR Business Partners and HR Business Partners across all business areas, with the planning and execution of various HR projects and initiatives, such as talent management, engagement, learning needs analysis, and organisational development.
You’ll work closely with the business to deliver tailored HR advice, providing insights and analysis that drive impactful change.
You will support the business through change management activities, aligning with the People Change Framework to ensure consistency and you’ll support regular HR processes like pay reviews, talent forums, and performance assessments. Additionally, you'll also provide Learning & Development consultancy services, conducting assessments to identify skill gaps and opportunities for growth.
With a focus on continuous improvement and process excellence, you'll play a key role in reviewing and determining our approaches to undertaking HR activities to ensure they are highly effective. You will also get involved in tracking project progress, reporting on KPIs, and ensuring that HR initiatives align with the company’s overall goals.
This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon. However, we understand how important a positive work-life balance is, so to help you give your best, we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support to work up to 80% of your hours from home.
**About you**:
You’re an exceptional leader with extensive experience in a learning and development environment in a networked business setting. You possess a deep understanding of the dynamics of the general insurance broker market. Your proven leadership skills clearly show your ability to drive change and inspire teams. With strong communication and relationship-building abilities you effectively influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives. A strategic thinker with excellent planning, organisational and project management skills. You collaborate effectively within a wider team, ensuring that collective goals are achieved.
To join our team, it’s essential that you also have:
- A Certificate in Learning and Development (CIPD) or its equivalent.
- Experience in designing, delivering, and managing learning programs.
- A keen ability to manage program budgets to ensure a strong return on investment.
- Strong critical thinking skills to enable you to write and present compelling business cases.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Coaching and/or mentoring skills - ideally accredited through formal qualification
