Position - Head of PMO
Day rate - £1000 - £1200 per day
Start - ASAP
Our client is a leading wealth manager with strong global investment banking capabilities. They are now looking for a Head of PMO to join their growing team and support the EVAM team.
The EAVM is a high performing team with diverse backgrounds, covering ex-consultants, industry professionals, change managers, business/functional SMEs, data scientists and technologists. Collaboration across these varied skillsets enables the team to deliversome of the company's highest profile and impactful projects, often covering multiple business/functions and global locations.
Overview of the department / team
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Governance
Responsible for the scheduling, control and reporting for series of meetings that form the governance of the EAVM-led Cost Program
Meetings include Expense Line Control Reviews, Cost Management Reviews, and the cost element of the Financial Performance Committee
Reporting pack coordination and delivery for all EAVM-led meetings
Responsible for the monthly delivery of the reporting packs for the Investment Portfolio Financial reviews and the Investment Committee
Reporting
Management and development of monthly reporting timeline / cycle to provide Cost Management reporting, including
Headcount forecasting, targeted expense line analytics, savings tracking and cost initiative tracking
Management of the Investment Portfolio financial reporting including benefits realisation and tracking
Policies & Processes
Responsible for the on-going review of expense policies, practices, and approval processes across the Group in partnership with ELCs and expense SMEs
Your skills and experience
You will be a high performing individual with experience in program management across multiple business lines and functions, either within consulting, a financial services project management role or a finance role. In particular, you will have the followingskills and experience:
Degree educated, or equivalent
Program Management experience +10 years
Experience of managing a Program Management Office with responsibility for providing reporting/data analytics
Experience in Finance specifically Expense Management, knowledge of financial MIS systems e.g. Essbase would be an advantage
Good presentation/data visualisation skills
Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
Ability to engage and establish relationships with multiple stakeholder groups (Front and Back office)
