Our client is an established bespoke joinery manufacturer based in Co Armagh Northern Ireland that works across all sectors and offers this as an exciting opportunity for an experienced
**Estimator** to join their close-knit team.
- Preparing and issuing detailed estimates for the manufacture and installation of bespoke joinery
- Preparing accurate material take-offs from AutoCAD drawings and costing accordingly
- Identify and calculate labour, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents.
- Prepare detailed cost calculations for specialist joinery items
- Import and manage tendered project costs within Ms Project software
- Identify cost potential (Value Engineering) through tender and costing process
- Engage with supply chain for costs, comparison and evaluation of all costs received
- Producing estimates that fulfil tender requirements
- Identifying, pricing and submitting variations for approval
- Arranging and attending handover / pre let meetings
- Develop good client relations through supporting clients through the bid and tender process

**Requirements**:

- Experienced in estimating for the manufacture and installation of bespoke joinery and or architectural metalwork
- Exceptional knowledge of specialist joinery design and construction including materials, manufacture and finishing procedures
- Experienced and proficient in Ms Office Suite
- Demonstrable experience of using estimating software
- Experience reading AutoCAD
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels
- Excellent organisational ability
