Are you a commercially driven engineer who loves solving problems, building relationships, and securing new business? A rapidly growing electrical controls specialist is looking for a Technical Sales / Electrical Estimator to join their team and play a key role in winning projects across multiple industries. This is a chance to join a forward-thinking organisation that designs and delivers bespoke electrical control systems for clients in Water & Wastewater, Food, Quarrying & Recycling, Renewables, Animal Feed, Refrigeration , and more. What you’ll be doing Building relationships with new and existing clients while identifying fresh business opportunities Meeting customers to understand their requirements, budgets, and expectations Reviewing specs, drawings, schematics, block cable diagrams, and BOMs Producing accurate costings and working closely with suppliers to achieve the best pricing Preparing tenders, PQQs, and clear commercial documentation Negotiating terms and conditions to secure new contracts Collaborating with design, production, installation, and support teams to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard Bringing new ideas, continuous improvement, and initiative to every project What you’ll bring HNC+ in Electrical Engineering 3+ years’ experience in a similar sales/estimation role Strong understanding of industrial electrical installation and control systems Ability to interpret electrical specifications, drawings, and BOMs Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and variable speed drives Excellent communication skills and a strong commercial mindset High attention to detail and the ability to work independently to deadlines Positive attitude and willingness to continue developing What’s on offer Attractive salary (DOE) Company pension scheme Private medical insurance after 12 months Long-service rewards Professional development & ongoing training Exposure to a wide range of industries Genuine career progression within a growing business If you’re motivated by both engineering and commercial success, this is a role where you can make a huge impact.
