**About the role**:
Our client is a trailblazer in sustainable energy, employing cutting-edge technology to transform non-recyclable waste into energy while adhering to the highest global standards in combustion and emissions control. Due to ongoing expansion, we are looking for a competent Security Officer to join the team. Based in Glasgow, the successful applicant will be required on the following shift pattern:
Monday to Friday (Day shifts) 06:00-18:00

**Duties and Responsibilities of a Security Officer**:

- Act as a visual deterrent
- Radio Communication
- Site patrols
- Display excellent customer service skills
- Provide a safe and secure environment for staff and customers
- Responding to client emergencies
- Liaise with the police and local crime reduction agencies, if required
- Providing reports as necessary
- Complete daily checks

**Requirements**:

- A valid SIA Front Line Licence is essential.
- Previous experience in a similar security role is desired but not essential; training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
- A proactive and vigilant approach to security, with the ability to assess and respond to potential risks.
- A professional and customer-oriented mindset, dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
