We provide **residential care** for young people aged ten to twenty-one years old and are seeking a Day Shift Care Worker for our three-bed care homes in Ayrshire.

We provide a homely, safe, and supportive environment, promoting responsibility, growth, learning, and positive outcomes for young people who come to stay with us.

As part of a team, you will provide day-to-day care, support and direction to young people with challenging emotional and behavioural needs. The role requires you to work with national childcare practice and use planned activities as a medium for healing. It also requires that...

Salary

**Salary from £12.60 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.**

Hours of work

**Full time 8am to 8pm, (14 shifts in every 4 week rota).**

Whilst previous experience would be desirable, excellent support skills, the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.

**Qualifications**
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with children or in a support environment
- Valid driver's license and experience of driving
- Familiarity with IT systems such as word

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 42 per week
