It is responsible, and holds agencies to account, for ensuring the effectiveness and quality of the workof single agencies involved in adult safeguarding and the way they work jointly.

**About The Job**

**Salary: £26,446 to £29,174 pa (Pro rata £13,223 - £14,587 pa)
Working Pattern: 18.5 hours per week, Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday all day.
Contract Length: Permanent
Location: Horsham**
The Communication and Support Officer role involves supporting the Board's workstreams to ensure that the Board performs effectively and efficiently.

This support includes managing the Board inbox, creation of complex minutes, report writing, creation of statistic and financial summaries and organisation of large meetings. The role will also be responsible for developing and delivering the Board's communicationstrategy and compiling, analysing, and producing market intelligence on the most effective communication channels. This includes evaluating the impact of communications, including impact on audience, resource requirements, risks and costs.

Additional support tasks will include managing the boards invoices and expenditure and contributing to building good cross agency relationships.

**Qualifications and/or experience**:

- Relevant degree, for example, Business, Communications or English, or equivalent qualification, or equivalent experience demonstrating the same level of understanding.
- Demonstrable experience of working on a variety of communications activities, preferably in a public sector environment and, also, of working in a rapidly changing environment.
- Experience/confidence of effectively working with a range of people, including at a senior level, and services and prioritising workload to coordinate and deliver on a variety of activities.
- Experience of organising complex meetings across a range of partners and agencies and, minute taking.
