Do you have life experience or a professional career background in Mental Health, and an interest in law, human rights and Mental Health?

If so, and if you are within travelling distance of the Ebbw Vale region, and have some free time - approx. 3 days per month during the day - then you could be one of several Associate Mental Health Act Hospital Managers covering our eight CAMHS services.

In this role, you’ll be called upon to contribute to the work of the Mental Health Act Associate Managers Panels and participate in the review process, scrutiny of records and monitoring of reports for our Service Users detained under the Mental Health Act1983.

Full training will be provided at the start of your appointment, as well as a minimum of one additional training day each year.

You may, on occasion, be asked to attend hearings at other Elysium sites, however you will not be required to do so if you are unable to travel. Any travel expenses will be covered, plus £80 per session (morning or afternoon).

In this role you will not be an employee of Elysium Healthcare, rather self-employed, and are required to act with probity, use good independent judgement and abide by the law and principles of good practice in accordance with guidance of the Mental HealthCode of Practice.
