Logistics Co-ordinator

Our client a growing organisation in Purfleet are looking for an experienced **Logistics Co-ordinator** ideally with fuel industry experience to join their team and work the **night shift** on a permanent basis. Based within this fast-paced environment you will need experience of co-ordinating at least 20-30 fuel trucks across the UK, excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

As Logistics Co-ordinator you will be working the night shift 10:00pm - 6:30am Sunday to Thursday. You will be the first point of contact for both your drivers and customers ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of products across the country.

**The Logistics Co-ordinator role will include:

- Being the first point of contact for customers and drivers to answer their queries
- Preparing transport documents in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Re-planning of customer base loads as the need arises
- Liaising with other offices in the UK, reporting any discrepancies or specific requirements
- Communicating efficiently and effectively with internal and external customers, drivers, and other offices, as required by operational procedures
- Contacting UK delivery destinations to book in deliveries
- Ensuring that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures
- General Administration duties, e.g., invoicing, filing, queries, claims
- POD handling for customers

**Skills and experience required:

- Previous experience co-ordinating fuel trucks would be a distinct advantage
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks using your own initiative
- Ability to prioritise own workload but also be able to work as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal
- Conversant with Word, Excel and CRM systems
- Must have analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
