We are seeking a hard-working, caring individual who wants to be part of a successful team that cater for children with Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties and PMLD.

The successful applicant will be part of a friendly and committed team who enjoy working with SEND students. The duties include classroom support, mentoring, pastoral care and assisting with the physical care of pupils as and when required.

We are looking for adaptable, flexible and resourceful individuals with excellent communication and written skills with high expectations of learning and behaviour.

The successful applicant will:

- Fully support the ethos and aims of the school
- Be flexible, proactive and organised
- Have a patient, caring and committed attitude
- Have Experience of working with children
- Have Some experience of supporting children in Literacy, Numeracy and working with SEND
- Have A good understanding of child development and learning processes
- Have The ability to be a great team player and also be able to work independently and use initiative
- Have An open-minded and inquisitive approach to the job but the ability to work to agreed strategies and procedures
- Have The ability to develop and sustain positive relationships with children, fellow staff members and families
- Have Experience of using ICT effectively
- Support students with all aspects of their personal care, including toileting and changing, as well as ensuring our students are fed in line with their individual needs

**This role is a full time position 8:40 - 3:40 Monday to Friday**, however we are able to accept part time applicants for daily supply requirements that may only be able to commit to certain days each week in this instance.
