**Paying £16.21ph**

As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will delivering a high standard of care to our patients. We value all our people and will provide you support and a great place to work.

As a skilled Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will be fully competent in phlebotomy/venepuncture with previous experience within a hospital or outpatient environment. You'll be able to demonstrate your exceptional communication skills with patients, their families, and members of the multi-disciplinary team.

**What you'll do**:

- Participate in the delivery of a consistent, safe service in all aspects of the patient journey, from greeting and orientating through to discharge, whilst demonstrating a culture of customer service.
- Provide holistic nursing care interventions as directed, ensuring patients optimum care needs are met, including hygiene, elimination, and mobility, and assisting patients with eating and drinking when required.
- Provide high quality physical and psychological care with compassion.
- Assist with collection and transportation of specimens.
- Maintain up to date care records and observations charts.
- Enter requests on the computer and assist the receptionist and nursing staff with any other clerical duties when required.
- Act as a mentor for new staff, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure adequate stock levels to allow care to be provided.

**What you'll bring**:

- NVQ Level 2 (Direct Patient Care) or equivalent.
- Venepuncture skills/Phlebotomy skills.
- Experience on a ward or outpatients department.
- Good Communication skills.
