**About the Role**
Silverwood Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading UK-recognised Awarding Body based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Our client specialises in developing and awarding professional and technical qualifications across a range of sectors from Entry Level to Level 5, regulated by both CCEA and Ofqual. They are currently seeking a highly organised and personable **Receptionist **to join their team and support the smooth operation of their Customer Services department.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Reception**:

- Provide a warm and professional welcome to all visitors and callers, both in person and by phone.
- Operate the company switchboard, directing calls as appropriate.
- Handle incoming and outgoing post, and ensure the reception area is tidy, well-organised and stocked with up-to-date materials.
- Receive visitors, issue badges, and provide refreshments.
- Perform general administrative duties such as data input, photocopying, and ordering supplies.
- Assist in preparing events, arranging meeting rooms, and coordinating hospitality.

**Customer Services Support**:

- Provide general advice to clients over the phone and assist with processing registrations and certifications.
- Support the Customer Services team with administrative tasks, ensuring all data complies with GDPR and company protocols.
- Manage room bookings and meeting room diaries, ensuring seamless event coordination.

**Essential Qualifications & Experience**
- 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (including English Language and Mathematics) or equivalent vocational qualifications.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a receptionist/administrative role.
- Experience operating a switchboard, handling customer queries, and performing general clerical duties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organisational and customer service skills with an excellent telephone manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Desirable Qualifications & Experience**
- 5+ years’ experience in a receptionist/administrative role.
- Experience working in an awarding body or examinations environment.

**Salary**: Salary range is **£25,147 - £27,596**. This is a six-point salary scale, with progression opportunities occurring each April.

**Pension**: 9% Employer contribution.

**Hours of Work**: 35 hours per week (exclusive of lunch breaks). 8.45am - 5pm Monday to Thursday & 9am - 4pm Friday.

**Holidays**: Entitlement is 39 days each year inclusive of statutory and public holidays rising to 44 days after 10 years' service. The leave year runs from 1st August to 31st of July.
