**The opportunity**

We are a completely independent Network for Mortgage and Protection brokers with over 800 members across the UK. Due to our continued growth and success, we are looking for an experienced Mortgage & Equity Release Assessor to join our Quality team.

**Responsibilities of a Mortgage & Equity Release Assessor**
- To undertake case file reviews ensuring they meet the relevant standards set by the company
- To liaise daily with advisers offering help and assistance with the processes and use of the back-office systems (Acre)
- Communicate with the compliance team regarding concerns/issues
- Chasing up any outstanding compliance requirements
- To be able to identify any risks to the company/adviser on the advice provided

**Requirements of a Mortgage & Equity Release Assessor**
- Excellent communication skills and financial industry background
- Strong Private Medical Insurance and General Insurance knowledge
- Excellent IT skills
- Experience using databases
- Accuracy and good attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Must have CEMAP OR FPC 1, 2
- Must have ER1 or CeRER
- Strong product knowledge on Health Insurance, General Insurance and Lending

**Preferable but not essential**
- Strong knowledge on bridging, commercials, Buy to Lets and Residential

**Salary of a Mortgage & Equity Release Assessor**
- £20,000 - £26,500 dependant on experience for our higher salary banding you must possess all the required qualifications/experience as stated above

**Working Pattern of a Mortgage & Equity Release Assessor**
- Monday - Friday
- 9am - 5pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £20,000.00-£26,500.00 per year
