HMPPS are recruiting a Women’s Pathfinder Partnership Integration Coordinator. This role will cover North East Wales Probation Delivery Unit, but may be required to work flexibly across Wales if the need arises.
The role will be embedded within the local probation delivery unit, with tasking from the Women in Justice/Blueprint team to enable a coordinated, joined up approach across Wales. The role will be aligned with, and support delivery of, the Women’s Pathfinder and will work effectively alongside existing multi agency structures.
The Partnership Integration Coordinator role does not work directly with women, but will work with partners to support the delivery of a Whole System Approach vision for women who come into contact with the criminal justice system in Wales and therefore will have a direct impact on addressing the needs of women. The role will provide operational/agency level coordination including unblocking barriers and co-ordinating a problem-solving approach for women with complex needs and vulnerabilities, enabling the strategic vision of the whole system approach, from the ground level up.
The post holder will work to support delivery of Whole System Approach Service by providing proactive partnership coordination. The intention is to work with partners to help target support more effectively for women, to avoid gaps or duplication in service provision, and support women to access provision so that they can turn their lives around. This may include establishing and promoting referral routes/pathways for women into local services across the nine pathways to offending with multi-agency partners (with a particular focus on ensuring seamless transition arrangements between key stages of the CJS), and supporting and coordinating partner engagement at case conferences. The post holder will also support in identifying and progressing opportunities for co-location and may be required to deliver briefings and training where the need arises.
Please note although stated in the advert, this role does not include any line management responsibilities.
