**The Role**

As a member of our Event Staff team, you will represent West Kent Group Ltd at a variety of events, including exhibitions, trade shows, promotional pop-ups. Your main responsibility will be to interact with attendees, promote our products/services, and generate sales through engaging conversations and tailored recommendations.

This is an active, customer-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, confidence, and the ability to build relationships quickly. A key part of the job involves upselling and ensuring customers understand the value of our offerings.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Event Representation**: Attend and work at various events, engaging with attendees and representing our brand professionally.
- **Sales & Upselling**: Identify customer needs and confidently recommend products/services that best suit them.
- **Customer Engagement**: Create positive interactions with potential customers to drive interest and increase conversions.
- **Product Knowledge**: Develop an in-depth understanding of our products/services to answer customer questions accurately.
- **Lead Generation**: Collect customer details where necessary to follow up on potential sales opportunities.
- **Setup & Takedown**: Assist with setting up event stands, displays, and promotional materials before events begin and ensuring a professional presentation.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive team dynamic.
- **Reporting**: Provide feedback to management on customer preferences, event performance, and areas for improvement.

**Who We’re Looking For**
- A confident and outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
- A passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- A self-motivated, energetic approach with a positive and professional attitude.
- Previous experience in sales, promotions, hospitality, or event work is beneficial but not essential - full training will be provided.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
