**Job Profile**

The requirement for a Junior Accounts/Finance Assistant has arisen through continued growth, expansion and demand in both customer base and orders.

The role will suit someone who enjoys working in a friendly and professional environment and who is able to manage multiple tasks at once, with a strong attention to detail, as well as an ability to react positively to set monthly objectives.

**Primary responsibilities**
- Support the finance team across all key areas of the purchasing function.
- Purchase ledger & statement reconciliation.
- Purchase order queries.
- Payment runs.
- Other various duties as required by the business.

**Skill/Experience**
- If you are currently studying towards an AAT/ACCA it would be desirable, but not essential.
- An exceptionally high degree of numeracy and attention to detail.
- Experienced and confident using accounts software such as SAGE or similar is ideal, but no essential.
- A good communicator, skilled at getting information from a range of sources and departments.
- Computer literate and confident in the use of the Microsoft Office package.
- Intermediate level Excel skills to a confident degree.
- A team player, able to foster excellent relationships at all levels.
- A self-starter, willing to go the extra mile.
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise a workload.
- Polite and professional phone manner.
- Possess flexibility and ability to effectively perform multiple functions at a time.
- Ability to work on own initiative with mínimal supervision as well as part of a team.

**Hours**:
Monday - Friday / bespoke working hours to suit the company and yourself.

**Package/Benefits**:

**Salary**: £24,000 - £30,000 per year (depending upon experience and qualifications)
