Are you an aspiring senior accountant or assistant manager with strong management accounting experience that’s looking to make the step up into a Manager role?
We are now supporting one of Hertfordshire’s leading accountancy firms with their search for a new Accounting Manager that will support a range of clients with a mix of management accounting, VAT and cloud accounting.

**Key Responsibilities of this Accounting Manager role;**
- Manage a portfolio of clients and provide management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT support as well as other assignments as required.
- Reviewing work completed by team members.
- Monitor and review client accounting and related system reports.
- Managing all aspects of your own client portfolio, whilst working closely with the team Partner and your junior colleagues.
There is also the opportunity to be involved in business development including new client proposals as well as ad hoc projects and team mentoring.
**You**
- Strong Management Accounting, Bookkeeping and Cloud Accounting knowledge gained in a client facing role.
- Strong knowledge of Xero and other cloud accounting packages is an advantage.
- ACCA or AAT Qualification is desirable but not essential.
