Supply Chain Team Leader

Yearsley Food is a Lineage Logistics Company.

We store, prepare, and move food-based products for a variety of customers from major retailers to schools, hospitals, restaurants etc.

A vacancy has arisen for a talented, ambitious, and highly motivated person already working in Supply Chain and looking for the next step up to Supply Chain Team Leader. Working in a busy environment in the Food Sales office based at our Heywood depot.

The role within the Food Sales Business will be to join our Team and lead our end to end Supply Chain Management. Liaising with our European Suppliers and all the Major UK Retailers. Ensuring forecast, supply, demand and order fulfilment are executed to the highest levels.

**Working hours**:

- Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30

**Typical daily activities**:

- Forward planning on stock holding liaising with the Lineage UK depots
- Forecasting coldstorage space within Lineage UK
- Order replenishment
- Production/Order planning
- Managing Cost / Selling Prices
- Need to be highly proficient in Excel
- A Great Knowledge on IT systems, word, excel, Microsoft etc.
- Excellent communication skills both written / verbal
- Need to be confident and can easily build relationships with colleagues, suppliers, customers, hauliers
- Ideally worked with retailers, Asda, Heron, Tesco, Morrisons etc.
- Liaising with customers to ensure high levels of customer service are being achieved
- Organisational and planning skills
- Able to motivate and encourage strong teamwork
- Highlights stock/replenishment issues before they happen
- Assist in evaluating cost saving opportunities
- Comfortable working with high volumes of numerical data

**Who we're looking for**:

- Experience working with Retailers in the Food Business required
- Fully proficient in all Microsoft packages but must have excetional Excel skills
- Excellent communication both verbal & written
- Outgoing personality and ambition to achieve
- Ability to work as part of a team or on your own
- Acceptance and willingness to multitask and respond positively to change
- A can-do attitude with a flexible working approach
