RMS is collaborating with a remarkable automotive company located in Crewe. We are seeking Vehicle Handling Operatives to join our established WIP/Yard team on a flexible ongoing basis. The client’s facility offers vehicle storage, inspection, maintenance, dispatch, and transportation services. VHOs play a crucial role in handling the movement of high-end vehicles within the automotive compound.

**About the role**:
Working within the compound team, reporting to the Team Leader and Site Manager the VHOS responsibilities can include:

- To carry out all vehicle movements from production to the finishing area
- To locate and move the correct vehicles to the correct location.
- To comply with the correct parking procedures and site speed limits
- To Fit Exterior/Interior Body Protection to vehicles
- To complete all relevant paperwork and report any discrepancies following basic visual inspections on vehicles.
- To carry out storage and maintenance checks.
- To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function.

**About you?**
- You must hold a valid driving license with less than 6 penalty points and no DR10 Offences in the past 10 years.
- You should be confident in your driving a wide variety of luxury vehicles. Including having experience with automatic, manual vehicles, and left-hand drive vehicles.
- Be familiar with the workings of other departments and the ability to multi-task to support other areas throughout the busy periods.
- Must have a level headed approach needs to be taken when driving vehicles to ensure your own safety
- The use of initiative needs to be taken to ensure all vehicles are distributed meeting the necessary quality standards.
