**Job Title**: Care & Support Assistant

**Salary**:£10.10 per hour, plus Sunday enhancement

As a Care & Support Assistant, you will provide crucial care to our customers in all aspects of their daily life based within a specialist support centre located in the West of the county.

Obelisk House provides exceptional levels of support in residential and Dementia care.

It is situated in a residential suburb in Northampton and it offers a wonderful living environment in which our residents can enjoy an enhanced quality of life

**As a Care & Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include**:

- Helping customers to get washed and dressed. Providing manual handling support and personal care.
- Providing medication support in a timely manner.
- Liaise with health professionals.
- Reporting any concerns or incidents to senior members of the team.
- Arranging and taking part in activities in the home such as games or film nights.

**Requirements**:

- A good understanding of Health & Social care through paid work, volunteering or personal experience.
- To be flexible with your working hours. A mixture of early shifts, late shifts and alternate weekends.
- Compassionate, enthusiastic & kind. Good listener and to provide guidance and advice to our residents
