Pay: £12.16 per hour
Hours: Full time Mon-Fri
Location: Edinburgh Office Base/Hybrid (please note training will be office based)

**Responsibilities**:

- Respond to queries on HR policies and procedures from internal and external customers, providing timely, accurate responses, and escalating where appropriate.
- Undertake all administration associated with the complete recruitment process, from advert to induction, to ensure that all parts of the process are effectively carried out and enable the organisation to recruit suitable employees.
- Receive sickness absence information and record it on the Human Resources database (Cascade) advising the relevant Human Resources Manager of any associated issues.
- Prepare and issue standard employment contracts and other contractual documentation, ensuring changes in employee data are correctly and timeously notified to Finance and pensions agency as appropriate.
- Prepare and issue adhoc correspondence as requested by members of the Human Resources Team.
- Update and maintain electronic and paper-based records as required ensuring a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Responsible for checking the accuracy of all HR data and highlighting problem areas, so that the relevant managers can address the issues.
- Support the provision of accurate data reports, to enable managers and staff to make effective and informed decisions on HR matters.
**Experience Required**:

- Previous HR Admin experience is essential
- Knowledge of HR processes in regards to contract exchanges and leavers processes
- Competent administrator
- Previous office experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience of using HR systems (cascade desirable)
